Speed On The Water recently posted an article recently revealing some exciting infomation about our testing a new center–console, the MTI-V 42, back in June. You can find the article below.

Speedonthewater.com received this “top-secret” photo of Marine Technology Inc. (MTI) testing its new center-console, the MTI-V 42, on Thursday. Rigged with triple Mercury Verado 300 outboards, MTI owner Randy Scism confirmed that the prototype 42-footer has started to undergo validation testing.

Marine Technology Inc. has started the validation testing on its new MTI-V 42 center console. Scism, who founded the Wentzville, Mo., company more than a decade ago, said that the initial testing is going great. Utilizing the first hull pulled from the mold—the deck and console are temporary—MTI is expecting to validate the hull design of its first V-bottom.

The company also plans to test the hull with twin and quad Mercury 300-hp outboards with a goal of having the new SV42 ready for the water this fall. You can be sure speedonthewater.com will keep up to date on the latest news from MTI.
